Tree injections / Banding target many tree problems from the Inside—a very effective way to treat many Insects, Fungi and Deficiencies, including treatments for large shade trees and chlorotic pin oaks. We can solve many problems or answer questions with an inspection. We will prescribe the correct course of action to fix problems. Mature shade trees are often too large to properly spray and assure proper coverage. Because of the exceptional landscape value that a mature shade tree has, we offer a full line of injectable and or banding treatments. Treatments directed into the xylem of the tree and then is taken up and distributed throughout the tree.
Insects such as: Emerald Ash Borer Birch Leaf Miners, Tent Caterpillars, Gypsy Moth Larvae, Birch Borer, and Japanese Beetle. Diseases such as: Sycamore Anthracnose, Dutch Elm Disease, Oak Wilt, Fire Blight, Ash Yellows and Cedar Apple Scab. Also, Pin Oaks that suffer from chlorosis (yellowing of the leaf) can also be treated with an Iron and Magnesium injection that helps return the leaves to a natural green color

Infestations can be difficult to detect until canopy dieback begins. Many trees appear to lose about 30 to 50 percent of the canopy in one year, and the tree is often killed after 2 to 3 years of infestation. Larvae feed in the phloem and outer sapwood, producing trails that eventually girdle and kill branches and entire trees.
